Precision Measurement Instrument

The goal of the PMI Certification course is to provide students with a robust understanding of precision measurement instruments. Students will use Starrett® measuring devices and develop skills in the following areas:

• Tape and Rule Measurement
• Slide Caliper Measurement
• Gauge Measurement
• Angle Measurement
• Micrometer Measurement
• Dial Gauge Measurement

The certification training is a collaborative effort between Snap-on and the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3), a network of education partners and corporations that support advances in workforce skills in the transportation, aviation, manufacturing, and energy sectors.

Reserve the PMI Certification Training Kit

• Please make sure there are vinyl gloves in the kit for the students to use. These tools will rust and we greatly appreciate your dedication to keeping hand moisture to a minimum.
• M1 is available in the kit. Please apply it to each applicable tool after a class. 
• If you are willing, you are welcomed to take the trailer to the next reserved location. This is always helpful, but our team is happy to bring the trailer to you.
• Please unload the trailer right away to acclimate it in your shop.
• The calendars are first come, first serve for two week intervals.
