CESA 3 Board of Control
CESA 3 is governed by the school districts it serves via a Board of Control consisting of one school board member from 11 of the 31 school districts in the region. The Board of Control determines Agency policies; obtains Agency funding; provides service contracts with school districts; authorizes money spent for equipment, space, and personnel, and contracts an Agency Administrator.
The 31-member school districts are established in the following AREAs:
AREA I - six adjoining districts in Crawford, Grant, and Richland counties including the: Boscobel, North Crawford, Prairie du Chien, River Ridge, Seneca, and Wauzeka School Districts
AREA II - seven adjoining districts in Grant and Lafayette counties including the: Cassville, Cuba City, Fennimore, Lancaster, Platteville, Potosi, and Southwestern School Districts
AREA III - six adjoining districts in Iowa, Lafayette, Richland, and Sauk Counties including the: Barneveld, Dodgeville, Highland, Iowa-Grant, Mineral Point, and River Valley School Districts
AREA IV - seven adjoining districts in Lafayette, Grant, Iowa, and Green Counties including the: Argyle, Belmont, Benton, Black Hawk, Darlington, Pecatonica, and Shullsburg School Districts
AREA V - five adjoining districts in Richland, Grant, Iowa, Sauk, and Vernon Counties including the: Ithaca, Kickapoo, RIchland, Riverdale, and Weston School Districts
