Educator Effectiveness

  1. A foundation of trust that encourages educators to take risks and learn from mistakes.
  2. A common, research-based framework on effective practice.
  3. Regular application of educator-developed goals based on data.
  4. Cycles of continuous improvement guided by timely and specific feedback through ongoing collaboration.
  5. Integration of evaluation processes within the existing school and district improvement strategies. (WI Regardless of the model used, Educator Effectiveness (EE) has the potential to be your number one school improvement strategy. A 2018 research study indicates that if a learning-centered EE systems can have a tremendous impact on both student learning and teacher retention.

CESA 3 Supports three models of Educator Effectiveness:

Wisconsin Model
Based on Danielson’s Framework for Teaching (FfT), the Wisconsin Educator Effectiveness System is a learning-centered, continuous improvement system designed to improve the education of all students in the state of Wisconsin by supporting guided, individualized, self-determined professional growth and development of educators.
 
CESA 3 Interactive Inquiry
Educational leaders in CESA 3 worked collaboratively to develop a vision for an alternative EE model, which offers simplicity and flexibility to users. Through the use of Danielson’s Six Clusters of the FfT, educators are supported through meaningful feedback and collaborative conversations with their evaluators and peers.

 

CESA 6 Effectiveness Project
CESA 6 has partnered with James Stronge and Wisconsin educators to develop a comprehensive evaluation suite. Their multi-tiered professional evaluation system is designed to serve the all educational personnel.
