Title I Leadership & Support
Description: The Elementary & Secondary Elementary Act (ESEA) is the most far-reaching federal legislation impacting education ever passed by Congress. It emphasizes equal access to education and establishes high standards and accountability. In addition, the ESEA bill aims to shorten the achievement gaps between students by providing each child with fair and equal opportunities to achieve an exceptional education. ESEA funds are authorized for professional development, instructional materials, resources to support educational programs, and for parental involvement promotion.
Benefits: CESA 3 staff regularly work with DPI Title I Consultants to ensure our service and support is up-to-date and accurate. All districts in CESA 3 are eligible for services under the Statewide Title I Network. Districts that purchase additional Title I leadership and support receive:

Title I Coordinator meetings which provide important legislative updates at both the state and federal level as well as cover topics specifically related to fiscal and legal Title I issues

Up to 3 days of on-site individualized support related to Title I, which may include ESEA support, TAS to Schoolwide support, or reevaluating your Needs Assessment
