Iowa County Advisory Council Meeting

Dodgeville, WI – CESA 3, Iowa County school districts, and the Southwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission invite community members, business leaders, and local officials to participate in the second annual Iowa County Advisory Council meeting, a collaborative event aimed at connecting education, industry, and the community to advance Iowa County’s growth. This year’s event will take place at the Upland Hills Health hospital in Dodgeville on Wednesday, November 12 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The overarching goal of the event is to strengthen regional collaboration and cultivate an aligned vision for the county’s economic and workforce development.

Participants will begin the evening with a tour of the Upland Hills Health medical facility, followed by a meal from Bob’s Bitchin’ BBQ. Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Leah Linscheid, Director of Marketing and Community Relations at Upland Hills Health, who will share insights into the organization’s work and impact on the region’s health care landscape.

Following the tour and keynote presentation, attendees will take part in a data listening session and collaborative discussion. This session will include a review of key findings from the Southwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Plan, as well as an opportunity to identify action steps and celebrate successful workforce partnerships already taking place in the area.
