Darlington, WI – CESA 3, Lafayette County school districts, and the Southwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission invite community members, business leaders, and local officials to participate in the third annual Lafayette County Advisory Council, a collaborative event aimed at connecting education, industry, and the community to advance Lafayette County’s growth. This year’s event will take place at the new Lafayette Hospital + Clinics facility in Darlington on Wednesday, November 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The overarching goal of the event is to strengthen regional collaboration and cultivate an aligned vision for the county’s economic and workforce development.
Participants will begin the evening with a tour of the new Lafayette Hospital + Clinics facility, followed by a meal from Bob’s Bitchin’ BBQ. Attendees will hear from keynote speaker Marie Wamsley, Chief Executive Officer of Lafayette Hospital + Clinics, who will share insights into the organization’s work and impact in the region’s health care landscape.
Following the tour and keynote presentation, attendees will take part in a data listening session and collaborative discussion. This session will include a review of key findings from the Southwest Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Plan, as well as an opportunity to identify action steps and celebrate successful workforce partnerships already taking place in the area.
