Safe and Healthy Schools
Membership in CESA 3's Safe & Healthy Schools programming helps build the capacity of
southwestern Wisconsin public school districts to implement programs that effectively prevent and
intervene in alcohol and other drug abuse and violent behavior among students to reduce barriers
to learning. In addition, programming will increase strategies for mental health awareness and
trauma-sensitive schools (TSS).

Teen Relationships
Friendships and dating often begin in school and many teens struggle in unhealthy, sometimes abusive relationships. Research has shown that school-based healthy relationship programs area key strategy to preventing violence against women and girls.
